Day 01: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Day 02:  Driving to South Gobi

Day 03: Camel festival

Day 04: Full day camel festival

Day 05: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar

Day 06: Shopping and free time

Day 07: Departure

Day 01: (March 4): Arrival in Ulaanbaatar city, capital of the Mongolia

Our driver will meet you at airport and transferred to the hotel. On this day, the meals doesn’t included. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 02: (March 5) Driving to the South Gobi

In the morning, we will drive to South Gobi. It takes a long driving because there is no internal flight in March. Lunch will be local restaurant. Overnight stay in a local hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 03:  (March 6) Camel festival

 

• 00 -12.30 Camel polo game
• 00 - Opening ceremony of “Camel festival-2015” and Camel parade. Competition of “The Best Couple on Camelback”
• 00 - Ankle bone shooting- Mongolian traditional game
• 00 - Camel polo –Final game for Champion Local exhibition of children’s artworks “Camel- My friend”.
• 18.00 - Children’s concert.  Meals and stay overnight at the tourist ger camp. (B+L+D)

Day 04: (March 7) Camel festival

• 00 - Camel race.
• 30 - Camel race.
• 00 - Torom (2 years old camel) racing
• 00 - Break for lunch
• 00 - “Camel express” competition for herders
• 17.00 - Rewarding and closing ceremony.  (B+L+D)

Day 05: (March 8) Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city

In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city. Lunch will be at local restaurant in Middle Gobi province. Overnight stay in a hotel. (B+L)

Day 06: (March 9) Shopping and free time 

Dinner will at Mongolian barbeque. Overnight stay in a hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 07(March 10) Departure

Your driver will transferred to the airport and departure. (B)

Tourist ger camp:

Tourist ger camp is a kind of hotel in countryside that service customers with Mongolian or Kazakh style Gers instead of hotel room. Mongolian tourist ger camp that consist of 20-30 Gers (Mongolian traditional yurt and Kazakh Ger is bigger than Mongolian) a restaurant and others. Some Gers has 2 and 3 beds or 4 beds and furnished with a table, chairs and a stove. Modern toilet and shower, sauna is separate block. The restaurant mostly service with Western and Mongolia sometimes Kazakh meals. Most of visitors prefer to stay in Ger, which provide and authentic taste of Mongolian and Kazakh culture and adventure, their most enjoyable experience in Mongolia.
